Sal Sage Western Music Entertainer passes away.

Born in Mountain View California as Salvador Fuentes on October 29, 1931 and raised in San Francisco.

Began singing Western Music at 20 years old. This tradition carried on for 50 years. A member of Screen Actors Guild Sal worked in commercials and as a movie extra. Sal Sage began working as a young man in the Union Stockyards and became a butcher by trade in San Francisco. He began moonlighting in local honky tonks and music soon became his passion. Sal was best known for entertainment at

the Red Bluff Gelding Sale, Grand National Livestock Expo, and many other cowboy functions. He resided in Lincoln, CA with his loving wife Georgia for the past eleven and a half years.

Sal Sage is survived by his sister Anita Schulte, Baileyville, KS; Juanita Phillips Daly City, CA; brother Joe Fuentes San Francisco, CA. and three step daughters and one son in law. Tammy Tokash, Fort Worth, TX; Virginia & Brian VanDyke, Rio Oso, CA; and Mollie Worden, Saginaw,TX; and nine grandchildren.
